> StR Management Programme (3-day)

Participants will be able to :
  • understand the importance of teamwork and what makes a successful team and team leader
  • gain techniques for dealing with challenging staff or situations
  • create a personal development plan for leadership and team development
  • consider the core values of the NHS and how clinical governance reflects these values.
  • understand the national framework for defining, delivering and monitoring clinical governance.
  • understand the importance of a Business Plan and how to construct one
  • consider key issues before choosing a job
  • be provided with a structure framework for the recruitment and selection of doctors
  • consider appropriate and effective tools and skills for recruitment and selection
  • have a raised awareness of diversity issues
  • practise interview and presentation skills

This is a 3-day programme, run on consecutive days.
