Participants will be able to :- understand the importance of teamwork and what makes a successful team and team leader
- gain techniques for dealing with challenging staff or situations
- create a personal development plan for leadership and team development
- consider the core values of the NHS and how clinical governance reflects these values.
- understand the national framework for defining, delivering and monitoring clinical governance.
- understand the importance of a Business Plan and how to construct one
- consider key issues before choosing a job
- be provided with a structure framework for the recruitment and selection of doctors
- consider appropriate and effective tools and skills for recruitment and selection
- have a raised awareness of diversity issues
- practise interview and presentation skills
This is a 3-day programme, run on consecutive days.
